At OPOS, we believe that support for our veterans shouldn't end at the front lines — it must continue in our peaceful cities, where veterans and their families face the long-term effects of war every day. That’s why we are proud to support the charitable initiative “Mission Kyiv”.

Mission Kyiv is a 2,600-kilometer journey of solidarity. On June 1, 2025, four Dutch soldiers and four Ukrainian veterans began their run from The Hague. After completing 2,000 kilometers to the Polish-Ukrainian border, the baton was passed to three Ukrainian veterans, who ran the final 600 kilometers to Kyiv in just 7 days.

At every stage of the journey, they were joined by supporters — adults and children, police officers, fellow servicemen, and ordinary citizens. This was more than a run. It was a message: of gratitude, unity, and shared purpose.

All funds raised during the Ukrainian leg of the run will go toward psychosocial rehabilitation programs for Ukrainian veterans, as part of the DoLadu Mental Health project.

We believe that returning to peaceful life is an essential part of victory.
And we stand with our veterans — every step of the way.

That’s why we partner with the Sviatoslav the Brave Charitable Foundation — an organization that helps Ukrainian servicemen, veterans, civilians affected by the war, and those who fight for Ukraine’s freedom every day.

Supporting the foundation is our way of expressing gratitude, paying tribute, and being of real help where it truly matters.

We are convinced that responsible business cannot stand apart from the life of the country.

And it is social responsibility that serves as the bridge between a successful today and a happy, thriving tomorrow.

 

New Year’s holidays are not just about reflections, plans, and gifts. It's a time to remember that business has the power not only to create products and services but also to make the world a better place.

This year, the OPOS team decided to redirect the funds traditionally spent on holiday gifts toward charity. Specifically — to support the charitable foundation “United Ukraine by YF”, which helps children who have lost a parent due to the war.

This is more than just support. It’s an investment in the future — in a generation that is already facing challenges no child should ever have to endure.
